Territorial Scope and Jurisdiction

Within the territory of the Republic of Guatemala.

Covered Risks

The Company guarantees the Insured Party the payment of the pecuniary indemnities that, in accordance with the laws of the country and in relation to the designated risk, the Insured Party may be civilly liable for:

• Death and bodily injury caused to third parties.
• Damage to third-party property.
• Third parties are not considered as third parties for the purposes of this offer:
• The spouse and ascendants, descendants and siblings, blood or related of the partners, managers, and dependents of the Insured or of the person causing the accident;
• The partners, managers, and dependents of the Insured Party, in their professional performance in the service of the Insured Party.
• The defense expenses of the Insured Party and of the person causing the accident, even against unfounded claims, as well as the fees and expenses of all kinds which are borne by the Insured Party as civilly liable. It is understood that the Company shall pay only the fees of lawyers and attorneys expressly appointed by the Company.
