What documents are required in case of a total loss due to collision?

- Claim Form
- Current year’s road tax, duly paid.
- Original and/or duplicate keys of the vehicle
- Copy of the driver’s license of the vehicle
- Complete copy of the Insured and/or Third Party’s ID and/or DPI.
- Traffic and Parking Meter (Municipalities) solvency.
- In case of transfer of rights: No encumbrance certificate from the Commercial Registry
- Title Deed with space for endorsement in clean copy.
- Original vehicle registration card
- Fully paid premium
- In case of being a legal entity (add):
- Photocopy of the deed of appointment of the legal representative.
- Complete copy of the legal representative’s identity card.

- Claim Form
- Certification of the Complaint to the Public Prosecutor’s Office
- Letter of theft report to the Ministry of Finance and inactivation of the vehicle (SAT).
- Current year’s road tax, duly paid.
- Original and/or duplicate keys of the vehicle
- Copy of the driver’s license of the vehicle
- Complete copy of the Insured and/or Third Party’s ID and/or DPI.
Solvency of transit and parking meters (Municipalities). - In case of transfer of rights: Certificate of No Encumbrance from the Commercial Registry
- Title deed with space for endorsement in clean copy
- Original vehicle registration card
- Fully paid premium
- Affidavit provided by Chartis Seguros Guatemala, S.A., to be filled out and signed at the claims office of the insurance company.
- In case of being a legal entity (Add):
- Photocopy of deed of appointment of the legal representative.
- Complete copy of the legal representative’s identity card
All the above documents must be submitted in original or authenticated copy*.
